We love to teach!
Founder of Konfident Kids
Hi I’m Evaleen. As well as running Konfident Kidz I also love to teach! I’ve studied speech & drama from a young age and hold 2 teaching diplomas from London College of Music. I like to keep busy so as well as this I am also a graduate of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and have a BComm (Hons) from UCC.
I absolutely adore working with kids and young adults. It’s their honesty, enthusiasm and imaginations which make my job so worthwhile. It is my firm belief that every child should be encouraged and praised constantly to develop into happy, healthy & successful adults. I set up Konfident Kidz to give children an opportunity to show off their talents and to give us another reason to encourage & praise them.
Since I started teaching over 14 years ago I love to encourage individuality in my pupils. I encourage them to voice opinions, come up with ideas and always explain how wonderful it is to see their imaginations working. With imagination there is no right or wrong answers.
I’m very lucky to have such a rewarding job and appreciate our pupils for making this so.

Hi, my name is Ciara and I have been working at Konfident Kidz since 2015. Having done speech and drama lessons myself from an early age, I fully believe in the confidence-building power of drama. This belief encouraged me to bring my love of drama to the next level, and I completed a degree in Drama and Theatre Studies with German in UCC. Along with this degree, I also hold a Speech and Drama Teaching Diploma from the London College of Music.
Working with kids every day is so much fun; their ideas and imaginations are boundless. I really think that having fun is the best way to learn (for the student AND the teacher!) so to me the most important thing is to try to make sure every student is enjoying taking part and having a good time.

Hi, I'm Liz and I'm the friendly Manchunian voice at the end of the phone when you contact Konfident Kidz. I look after all things office and any queries you may have. I'm always happy to help.
I've been involved with Konfident Kidz for many years as a parent and have seen the company flourish and my own children's confidence grow under the wonderful guidance of Evaleen, her teachers and the Konfident Kidz programs.
I myself have a lengthy administrative background having been in the civil service for many years and was delighted when the opportunity arose to join the Konfident kidz team.

Hi, I'm Jennifer! My belief is that every child should feel confident in themselves.
I started my training in Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa where I completed the Theatre Performance course, this is where my love for drama began. I have recently moved back from 7 years in London. I went there to further my training and I now have a B.A (hons) in Musical Theatre from London College of Music. I have a huge passion for Singing & Acting or anything musical.
I am very excited to start teaching with Konfident Kidz as I feel each child can have so much personal growth through singing & drama. While preparing for performances or through group exercises each child can develop the ethos of team work which is a great skill for every child to learn. I aim to inspire and motivate all children to be the best that they can be. I think it’s important to develop children’s creative imagination and give them the freedom to explore new ideas, which is what I hope to do in my classes. I hope that all the children will have fun, fascination and create new friendships.
As well as teaching I love performing and involving myself in new acting & musical projects.

Hi, I'm Shauna! Speech and Drama has been a passion of mine since a young age. I loved my 10 years with Evaleen at Konfident Kidz and I'm delighted to have completed my Diploma in Teaching Speech and Drama and share this passion for drama with younger generations through teaching.
I've always loved working with kids and watching them grow and learn through drama. It delights me to see kids expressing and enjoying themselves through performance while also learning valuable life lessons. I've always adored performing, be it taking part in school plays, Feis Maitiú even performing on the Opera House stage. Teaching gives me the opportunity to combine performance with working with kids and I love that!
As a home grown Konfident Kid, I've seen and experienced the benefits of Speech and Drama on a child's development. The life skills I learned are irreplaceable. I developed a confidence that I carry with me today and I put this experience into practice in my teaching as I believe in helping every child to reach their full potential both on and off the stage.
As author and child therapist Haim Ginott once said,"Children are like wet cement, whatever falls on them makes an impression." It is a teacher's responsibility to make the right impression on a child and it is my aspiration to make a positive, long-lasting impression on my students and help them to grow and develop into Konfident Kidz!"

Hi, I'm Audree! Speech and Drama has been a passion of mine throughout my life, having completed a teaching diploma with London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, I have also completed a Bachelor of Education with a Specialism in Drama Education with Mary Immaculate College.
I am a positive, kind and enthusiastic teacher. I love to see children reaching their potential and exploring their full range of ability. The skills mastered for Konfident Kidz through Speech and Drama goes far beyond the classroom setting. Children learn to use their imagination, be confident in their ability and how to be a good team player, just to name a few! All of these are imperative life skills that will benefit a child throughout his/her life.

I started Speech and Drama at a young age. My parents decided it was the best option as I had a speech problem at the time. Over the years my speech and confidence developed. I fell in love with poems from Spike Milligan and loved learning about the different poets. I received my Gold medal in the end and then studied for two years for my Higher Diploma from London Victoria College of Music. I am also a qualified Hip Hop Dance Teacher. I have been teaching drama for the last two years and I have been teaching dance for seven years to both children and young adults.
I love seeing a child's confidence grow. I love seeing a child's smile when they are enthusiastic to learn. Speech and Drama has helped me to come out of my shell and I hope that my teaching can help a child to grow in their confidence and personality.

Theatre and drama are so important in my life. I delight in the fact that I can pass this on to a younger generation. I live, breathe and eat theatre, although I do occasionally take a break from it by reading a book, throwing dinner parties or taking out the knitting needles, all while listening to my extensive CD and vinyl collection.
I will always be grateful to my own mom, Máire, for sending me to my first Speech and Drama class. From those fun after school classes, I went on to study Drama and Theatre Studies and English in UCC, achieving a BA(hons), and completed two years in Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa where I gained valuable knowledge in theatre production, performance and workshop facilitation.
Exploration, discovery, and creativity are experiences I hope to provide in class. I feel that Konfident Kidz provides an environment where young people can express and have the freedom to discover new things about themselves, and a confident child is inspiring to anyone. I love hearing what the students have to say in class, listening to their ideas. Theatre allows children (and adults) to see their individual magic. It’s such a pleasure to see the students light up in class, seeing them smile and hear the laughter. The journey from the beginning of class to the end — and the children’s ability to learn so much so quickly — is always amazing.
